MIDDLEBOROUGH — Permanent Cable Committee approves $490,657.79 FY27 budget with Media Department impact. Chair Bob Silva and the committee voted unanimously to adopt the revised budget, which includes $51,685 in personnel costs for Cable Access Director Karen Foye and staff member Zack G., plus $90,000 in capital outlay split between projects and equipment, following the town's dissolution of the Media Department. Attorney Robert Treano advised that no immediate action is needed on the Verizon Franchise Renewal, which expires in three years, but recommended sending a discussion letter to Verizon in approximately one year.
