MIDDLEBOROUGH — Conservation Commission exempts water main and closes residential permits. The Conservation Commission voted unanimously to issue a negative determination exempting a Route 28 water main extension from wetlands filing requirements, finding the underground utility installation within existing roadway qualifies as minor utility activity. The Commission also closed hearings for two residential projects, issuing Standard Orders of Conditions for Roger Fillion's bridge replacement at 5 Kelley Drive and Erin Murphy's septic system upgrade at 658 Wareham Street, with both requiring buffer-zone mitigation plantings.

The Commission approved fiscal 2027 budget changes including reclassification of Senior Clerk Catherine Lake to Administrative Assistant effective July 1, pending internal posting completion.
