Community Preservation Committee approves three FY27 projects

Middleborough Community Preservation Committee approves $110,500 in FY27 funding. The committee unanimously approved three applications: $10,500 for a climate-controlled system at the Robbins Museum, $60,000 for invasive aquatic species treatment at Tispaquin Pond, and $40,000 for a playground at Nemasket Park. Chair Anne Marie Jacobson reported the Historic fund balance at $161,000 and the Reserve account at $396,000.
The committee also unanimously approved an $8,900 SRPEDD proposal for a 5-year preservation plan and extended the Bertarelli acquisition project to June 30, 2026. Erin Rowe resigned as at-large member and treasurer.
