Middleborough Finance Committee seeks comprehensive financial data. During a joint review with the Select Board, the committee examined Police and Fire Department FY27 budgets, both facing 9 percent increases.
Fire Department long-term needs include a $2.5 million ladder truck, $200,000 PPE refresh, and $150,000 SCBA equipment. School Committee and other liaisons reported budget pressures including Conservation's request for a new part-time agent and Assessors' planned outsourcing work at $55,000 annually.
