Middleborough Commission approves two Wareham Street development projects
Conservation Commission · Meeting of January 29, 2026
Middleborough Conservation Commission approves two commercial projects on Wareham Street. The unanimous approvals cleared an 11,400-square-foot two-story building at 480 Wareham Street with self-storage and potential restaurant and retail space, and a 75,000-square-foot industrial complex at Campus 44 Canopy Drive after months of engineering peer review. Tim Hashem of Lex Development said the Wareham project aims to bring a full-service restaurant to underserved south Middleborough.
The Upper Nemasket River channel restoration project advanced but will not file a Notice of Intent before 2027 due to required endangered species consultations.
