Middleborough's Permanent Cable Committee unanimously backed a $453,076.85 FY27 budget and authorized about $14,700 in studio equipment and software upgrades. Chair Bob Silva oversaw approval of a Nikon Z8 camera kit ($6,547.30), an Adobe Creative Suites license upgrade ($7,908.33), and a voice-activated camera ($450.66), plus a $532.50 HDMI and monitor setup. Cable Access Director Karen Foye reported a $702,681.49 account balance and noted Verizon's franchise agreement expires March 10, 2029, triggering a pending ascertainment review process.
