Select Board approves $210,000 land purchase adjacent to Spruce Street well.

MIDDLEBOROUGH — The Select Board unanimously approved a $210,000 land purchase adjacent to the Spruce Street well from retained earnings, aimed at protecting the town's best-performing water source and reserving space for future well replacement infrastructure. Chair Teresa Kelly Farley and board members also unanimously approved a propane storage permit for Devaney Energy, Inc. at 200 Canopy Drive and tabled a Class II Automobile Dealer License for Auto Medic LLC to April 27, requesting the applicant attend with detailed parking and vehicle-storage plans. The board appointed William C.

Pike Jr. as the Select Board's Capital Planning Representative and unanimously terminated the Administrative Assistant contract effective April 17, 2026, on probation. The board also unanimously approved a Mandatory Water Use Restriction program and a bridge project at 5 Kelley Drive spanning wetlands and designed to accommodate motorized vehicles.
