Middleborough Select Board unanimously approved one-day beer and wine licenses for The Bartending Service of New England at the Alley Theatre on three February dates. The Board moved through routine annual appointments including Special Police Officers, a Constable, and Commission observers, while Town Manager James McGrail presented the FY27 budget highlighting increased retirement appropriation, higher health insurance costs, Bristol Plymouth High School debt, and six new SAFER firefighters. The Board rejected an Earth Removal application for 504 and 508 Wareham Street and continued related WRPD hearings to February 23, and initiated a Town Manager search process after receiving interest from Matt Foye and Joe Perkins.
