MIDDLEBOROUGH — Select Board opens warrant for April town meeting, closing March 6. The board voted unanimously to authorize the warrant for the Annual and Special Town Meeting set for Monday, April 27, 2026, and also approved five event permits including the 2026 Patriot Half Triathlon on June 13 and Cranberry Trifest on August 23, both subject to Police and Fire clearance. The board unanimously approved a one-day beer and wine license for The Bartending Service of New England at Alley Theater and renewed the 2026 Taxi Livery License for Middleboro Superior Cab.
The Select Board also accepted a $20,000 donation from McLean Hospital described as a gift in lieu of property taxes.
