MIDDLEBOROUGH — Select Board reorganizes with Teresa Kelly Farley as chair. Thomas White was unanimously elected Vice Chair at the April 6 meeting, where the Board also set the Annual Town Meeting for June 1, 2026 at 7 p.m. at Middleborough High School. Interim Town Manager Joe Perkins outlined a tight eight-week timeline for impact bargaining with town unions before warrant completion, highlighting the urgency of union contracts containing layoff language.
The Board unanimously approved a Class II Automobile Dealer License for Imperium Motors at 1186 Washington Street, Canton, limited to 20 vehicles with no on-site repairs, and approved three separate One Day Beer and Wine Liquor Licenses for The Bartending Service of New England on five dates in May and June. Interim Fire Chief Dana Fontaine was approved in a majority vote with one abstention at a rate of 70 dollars per hour.
