Middleborough Select Board moves Special Town Meeting to June 16. Chair Teresa Kelly Farley led the board in voting unanimously to reschedule the warrant to June 16 at Middleborough High School after time constraints prevented publication for the original June 1 date. The board also unanimously approved a precinct consolidation plan that will relocate Precinct 3 from the South Fire Station to the high school and combine Precincts 5 and 5A at Nichols Middle School, saving an estimated $20,777 annually in police details.
The board appointed Marla Snyder, Andrew Casey, Heidi Michaelis, and Sherri Hartlen-Neely to the Board of Library Trustees in unanimous votes and signed a purchase and sale agreement for Miller Street, Cushman Way, and Apache Way pending June 1 Annual Town Meeting approval.
