MIDDLEBOROUGH — Weston Forest Committee reorganizes with unanimous leadership votes. MacDonald Sprague III was elected chair, Bart Devine as vice chair, and Donna Johnson as secretary, with the committee welcoming new members Wally Glendye and Joe Mandile. The committee approved December minutes on a vote of five to zero with two abstentions and set its April 7 meeting date.
The group outlined six 2026 priorities, including trail clearing, trail marking, an All-Persons Trail grant application, memorial bench access improvements with Wildlands Trust partnership, and a forest mapping initiative, with a tentative cleanup and trail assessment scheduled for March 28.
