Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of March 26, 2026

Middleborough Zoning Board of Appeals continued two major hearings on March 26. The solar-energy facility off Wall Street has been revised to relocate battery storage to Carver and reduce visual impact at three residential abutters along Stone Street through a half-acre array pullback and fence redesign; the hearing continues to April 23. In a new case, Pavestone (owned by Quikrete since 2012) seeks to build a 40,900-square-foot concrete-manufacturing facility at 18 Cowan Drive with a special permit for parking reduction from 69 to 17 spaces and a new stormwater system handling 59,000 additional square feet of impervious coverage; the hearing continues to April 9, with Fire and Conservation reviews pending.
